Tickets that can be purchased directly from Show Me Tickets are generally more than face value. We are a ticket broker and obtain the tickets through a variety of methods including from season ticket holders and from individuals with extra tickets to an event. We resell the seats at the market price, which is generally greater (and sometimes significantly greater) than face value. This price reflects the cost of obtaining the tickets as well as other conditions. The difference between a ticket broker and a ticket scalper is brokers are typically licensed by a US state (we are licensed in IL). Licensed brokers guarantee the integrity of their seats and maintain an office (during traditional business hours). Most importantly, a good ticket brokerage strives to provide the highest level of customer service that is generally not provided by the primary ticket seller (agent). We do our best to provide you with a variety of seating options as well as advice on these different options. We also work to provide, and continually improve, our online ticketing system which will allow you to easily purchase tickets for most events online at your convenience.
Certain states have restrictions regarding the reselling of tickets. Some of the states with regulations regarding the reselling of tickets include (but not limited to) FL, MO, NY, NC, SC, MD, PA, and others. This article provides some information regarding ticket brokering restrictions or you can look up all state laws (We do not guarantee that the information on these sites is accurate, we are simply providing these resources to help ensure you are aware of all laws pertaining to ticket transactions.) We do not collect information regarding your physical location when ordering tickets online or over the phone.
When you receive your order confirmation it does not mean that the order has been processed. Your order is a ticket request that will be processed by one of our sales representatives. If the tickets you request are no longer available, we will call to notify you and work with you to find a seating alternative. If you are having the tickets shipped to an address other than the address where you receive your credit card billing statement, we will generally need you to sign a copy of the order (either by printing it out from the web, printing out the confirmation e-mail, or by giving us your fax number so we can fax you a form). This assures that we are shipping to the correct place and is used for verification to protect you, the cardholder.
Please note that shipping estimates are from the time your order is completed by a sales representative, not from the time your request is placed online. Orders are typically processed within 48 hours. Please note that because we ship all packages via FedEx, we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please be aware that FedEx requires a signature for packages.
If shipping requires a Saturday delivery, we will need to ship to a FedEx location near you or near your event to ensure delivery. Normal policy shipping policy apply for shipping to an address other than your billing address.
In some instances, including if you are NOT shipping to your billing address:
We will need you to print your confirmation e-mail, verify the information is correct, sign it and fax it to 800-206-2455. Also include a copy of your credit card (front & back) and driver license (this is done to protect the card holder).
The processing fee does not reflect the face value of the tickets. Prices on our site are listed at market value, which is more than the price printed on the ticket.
Events taking place within the Chicago city limits may have tax added to the order.
The cost of the tickets minus any shipping and processing fees will be refunded to the customer if the event is canceled for as a result of an act of God (weather, earthquake, hurricane, etc.). Events canceled as a result of venue structural issues, war, fire, civil disturbance, any acts of government, terrorism, strike, lockout or other labor disputes, there are no refunds. Tickets for postponed events will be valid for the new date and/or time, therefore no cancellations or exchanges for postponed events or time changes. If for some reason, the tickets are not valid for the new event time or date, it will be treated as a canceled event.
Golf and Tennis - Partial Event Cancellations
If multi-day events such as tennis or golf tournaments have one day's play canceled or postponed, tickets purchased for that date may not be honored for another day's play or redeemed for tickets that would. If any part of a day's scheduled events occurs, a full day of the event will be considered to have taken place.
Once you place your order and it is processed, there are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. We try to accommodate all of your requests, but after the order has been processed, we will not issue a refund or exchange. We do not give refunds because we buy our tickets from a variety of locations. Once you purchase the tickets, we acquire these specific tickets for you and are not able to get our money back. Ticket prices fluctuate much like the stock market. And like the market, when prices go down, you cannot sell your stock back to the broker at the price you originally paid.
If your tickets are lost in transit, Show-Me tickets will issue a refund or replace the tickets. However, once delivery has been confirmed by the shipping service (generally Federal Express), the tickets are your responsibility. If you have a FedEx signature waiver on file, you assume responsibility for the tickets once the tickets have been left. It is recommended to have the tickets shipped to a location that will ensure you do not have any delivery problems. To help ensure there are no problems with delivery, we will ship the tickets to any location that is specified by you.
We cannot replace lost or stolen tickets. Please put your tickets in a safe place.
We use a SECURE SERVER with 128 bit encryption when accepting your online order. Your information is encrypted before being transferred via a secure server. You can check the security lock on the right-bottom part of your browser.
